Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Matt Burke plans to go diving in Bora Bora on summer vacation Mike Hughes Color Rush Jersey , and when he returns he'll really start trying to figure out who should play where this season.

Burke and the rest of the defensive staff have been experimenting and evaluating during spring non-contact drills. But when asked Wednesday how much he can tell before players don pads, he responded with a slight smile.

"Nothing," Burke said.

Minicamp does offer a chance to assess agility and how well players are absorbing the system, he said. But it will be August before Burke and the Dolphins have a true sense regarding what kind of defense they'll be in 2018.

"Everything has an asterisk on it until we put pads on," Burke said.

Miami hopes and need to be much better on defense than last season, Burke's first as a coordinator under coach Adam Gase. The Dolphins ranked 29th in points allowed at 24.6 per game, and then parted with their best defensive player, five-time Pro Bowl tackle Ndamukong Suh.

On the plus side, they added veteran Robert Quinn at defensive end and first-round draft pick Minkah Fitzpatrick at safety. Raekwon McMillan, a 2017 second-round pick, returns to start at middle linebacker after missing his entire rookie season because of a knee injury. And depth appears improved at end, linebacker and safety.

"We don't have any positions set in stone right now," Burke said. "We're rolling a lot of guys at a lot of positions."

Fitzpatrick, for example, is splitting his time among the free safety, strong safety and nickel back positions.

"He's probably about as advertised," Burke said. "He's really sharp. He's thirsty for knowledge. We're trying to overload him, and he keeps taking it. We are moving him around at some different spots and trying to get a feel for what his best fit is. He has responded well."

At defensive end, the rotation will include Quinn, Cameron Wake, Andre Branch, William Hayes and 2017 first-round pick Charles Harris.

"Our plan would be to rotate different groups," Burke said. "We feel we'll be better off having fresh guys patrick mahomes authentic jersey , whether it's for two, three or four snaps at a time, and then send the next group in. Building depth there was important to us. We want guys going full speed."

The Dolphins have four more practices scheduled next week and then break until training camp, allowing the 42-year-old Burke to embark on his latest exotic vacation in Bora Bora, a small island in the South Pacific. He has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, done charity work in Uganda, and taken a safari in three other African countries.

Burke joked in the past about Gase calling him during vacation with football questions, and had a quick response when asked if the boss will be able to reach him this time.

"Whether I have cellphone service or not," Burke said, "the answer is no."

Decisions about who's playing where will have to wait.

GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Chandler Jones had an All-Pro season as an outside linebacker in 2017, leading the NFL in tackles with an Arizona Cardinals franchise-record 17.

Now he’s a defensive end, a position that could mean even more trouble for opposing quarterbacks. His only duties: set the edge to stop the run or get to the quarterback, something Jones does with a vengeance.

There’s a viral video of Jones wreaking severe damage on a blocking sled earlier in camp.

“Just too powerful” he explained.

But there’s more than power to the 6-foot-5, 265-pound Jones’ game.

“The guy has great length, good speed off the ball,” Cardinals coach Steve Wilks said. “He has that sliver technique to be able to get around the edge of the tackles, and he’s physical. He can turn that speed into power and create some momentum getting back to the quarterback. He has it all, and hopefully we can continue to build on what he had last year.”

Jones came to the Cardinals from New England in March of 2016 in a trade that sent a second-round draft pick and guard Jonathan Cooper to the Patriots. Because the Cardinals played a 3-4 defense under coach Bruce Arians, Jones had to learn to drop back in pass coverage as well as rush the passer and try to stop the run.

He handled the transition well.

Jones had 11 sacks and four forced fumbles in 2016 and, in March of last year, signed a five-year, $82.5 million contract that offseason LeGarrette Blount Jersey , with $53 million guaranteed.

In the 2017 season, Jones lived up to those big numbers. Not only did he lead the league in sacks but also in tackles for loss with 28, well ahead of the second-best performance, 21 by Houston’s Jadeveon Clowney.

“I feel like if you want to be labeled an elite defensive end, you can’t be just a pass rusher,” Jones said. “You have to be good on all cylinders and definitely setting the edge and defeating the run is one of them. That’s one thing I tried to take pride in last season and hopefully I can carry that forward to this season.”

Now 28 and entering his seventh NFL season, Jones wants more.

His goal, he said, is to do “better than I did last year.”

“There’s never a perfect season,” Jones said. “I can sit here and tell you a handful of plays that I left out there last season and hopefully I can capitalize this year.”

With Arians’ retirement and the arrival of Wilks, Jones is moving back to the 4-3 defense that he played with the Patriots. It means going back to a three-point stance instead of standing up as an outside linebacker.

“It’s not that hard,” he said. “You just have different terminology. You attack offenses different, but it’s not that big of a difference honestly.”

Wilks agrees.

“He hasn’t had a problem with that at all,” he said. “You go look back at some of the things he’s done in the past. He’s put his hand on the ground before.”

Jones likes the new defense.

“I feel like guys are flying around a lot more,” he said. “There’s less thinking. There’s one-gap assignments and everyone is flying to the ball.”

Jones will get some edge-rushing help from the return of Markus Golden, who had a team-high 12 1/2 sacks in 2016 but played in just four games a year ago before a season-ending knee injury. Golden is on the physically unable to perform list but could be back before the season begins.

“Markus is a vocal leader,” Jones said. “He’s a guy that you can feel his presence out there but not by just his game play. I’m excited to have him back he’s a ‘hoorah’ guy and a hell of a player on top of that.”

Meanwhile, Jones and left tackle D.J. Humphries have had some spirited battles already in training camp as Wilks encouraged physical play. Humphries is lucky to have the practice, Jones said.

“I told D.J. yesterday, ‘You know what? You’ll never go against someone in a game that’s like me’ and I say that proudly because there’s not a lot of guys that do the moves that I do. I told D.J., ‘If you can stop me on a consistent basis, you’ll be fine.'”

Notes: Wilks said LB an MRI on LB Deone Bucannon’s knee showed no structural damage and the player’s availability in training camp would be evaluated “day to day.” Bucannon banged his knee against WR Brice Butler’s helmet on Thursday. … Several thousand people attended the team’s “Red and White Practice” on Saturday.

OWINGS MILLS Marc-Andre Fleury Jersey , Md. (AP) Robert Griffin III rolled to his right and threw a tight spiral down the middle of the field to a receiver that was being closely covered by a pair of defenders.

Several plays later, he dropped back and launched a 50-yard pass to a receiver running down the far sideline.

Griffin is quietly making a comeback as a backup quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens.

Though starter Joe Flacco and rookie Lamar Jackson have received most of the attention at training camp, Griffin hopes to make some noise at the annual Hall of Fame game against the Chicago Bears on Thursday night. It will be his first taste of NFL action since 2016.

”I’m very excited,” Griffin said. ”I don’t think I can put into words how fun this whole process has been, being here in Baltimore and just having the opportunity to grow with this team. I just want to go out there and show they can trust me and hopefully lead us to a win.”

Griffin won the Heisman Trophy as a junior at Baylor and was the second overall pick in the 2012 draft by the Washington Redskins. He was the NFL’s rookie of the year before his career was derailed by injuries.

Griffin missed the 2015 season after sustaining a concussion during the preseason. After being released by Washington, he signed with the Browns in 2016. He started the regular-season opener, but sustained a shoulder injury. Griffin was able to play the final four weeks and was the starting quarterback the last time the Browns won a game, beating San Diego on Dec. 24, 2016.

He did not play football last year, but stayed in shape by training at the University of Central Florida. Griffin said he also spent hours watching film, studying the defense of various NFL teams.

”He has street credibility immediately Jessie Bates III Color Rush Jersey ,” Ravens quarterbacks coach James Urban said. ”He loves football and had the taste of not being around it for awhile, so he’s hungry and enjoying every moment. We talk all of the time: control what you can control and when the opportunity comes, you take advantage of it.”

Griffin, 28, worked out with the Ravens a few months prior to the NFL Draft. He performed well enough to earn a one-year deal reportedly worth $1 million with a $100,000 signing bonus. So far, Ravens coach John Harbaugh is confident the team made the correct decision.

”I think it’s been great having Robert here. He’s a very talented pro,” Harbaugh said. ”He’s a top pick in the draft, so he has talent. He’s healthy for the first time in quite a few years.”

Griffin is fully aware that any role with the team will be serving as a backup to Flacco. The biggest question now is whether the Ravens will carry three quarterbacks into the regular season.

”It will be a tough decision,” Harbaugh said. ”Any time you keep an one player at one position as extra, it’s one less player at another position you decide to lose. I’m not even thinking about that right now. We’ll let that happen when the time comes.”

When Giants safety Landon Collins had to undergo a second surgery on his broken arm in April Youth Su'a Cravens Jersey , there were concerns it could be a significant problem: Collins had already had surgery at the end of the 2017 season, and it’s never a good thing when one injury requires two surgeries.

But Collins says he’s doing so well that he hopes to be cleared for the Giants’ minicamp next month. Collins told Newsday that he’s pushing to participate in the mid-June minicamp, although he added that he’ll accept it if the coaches and medical staff prefer that he take it easy to be sure he’s fully healed before training camp.

Collins can still run while his arm heals, so he says he’s fine as far as conditioning is concerned, and he said that while working with the new coaching staff at Organized Team Activities, he’s been pleased to feel more on the same page with this staff than he felt with the staff last year — even as he’s been admonished by new coach Pat Shurmur for weighing in on the situation surrounding Ereck Flowers, which Shurmur felt should have been handled in-house and not through the media.

Collins had started every game of his three-year career until missing the final game of last year with that broken arm. Now he’s heading into the final season of his four-year, $6.1 million rookie contract, and he’s eager to make his fourth year his best year.

Josh Rosen is a smart young man and in the early stages of Arizona Cardinals training camp he’s doing a lot of thinking.

The rookie from UCLA is looking forward to the day where the pro offense he is trying so hard to master is second nature and he can play with pure reaction. Because he’s had a few decision-making errors lately Reggie Wayne Jersey , including an ill-advised interception on Saturday.

Asked Sunday about the rookie quarterback’s first training camp so far, Arizona coach Steve Wilks mixed praise with a bit of criticism.

”Throughout practice you could see again the accuracy,” Wilks said. ”He threw one ball right down on the seam that was on-point. I showed that in the team meeting. Again, his decision-making sometimes, we’ve got to make sure we can shore that up.”

It’s a valid point, Rosen said.

”I absolutely understand what he’s saying,” Rosen said before Sunday’s practice. ”I turned the ball over a little bit last practice and at a couple of OTAs. He has a goal and I have a process in which to go about it and my process is I have to own the playbook.”

Once he has mastered the plays, he reasons, he will not have to think so much but simply react, and that will lead to the right decisions on the field. All the while not losing his trademark aggressiveness.

”I’m focusing so much on getting lined up and get everyone doing the right thing and trying to give it to the right guy,” Rosen said. ”When all that stuff is second nature you can focus on other things, but you can never give the ball to the other team. That’s the biggest thing that most every coach presses in football is just take care of the ball.

”I’m not going to play overly conservative and not play who I am, but you just have to feel that soft spot. I’m definitely am aggressive and take shots but after to be very aware of situations and not make it too easy for the other team to get the ball, hand them the ball.”

The Cardinals got Rosen, the man they consider their future franchise quarterback, by pulling off a trade to draft him 10th overall out of UCLA.

This isn’t Rosen’s team yet.

Wilks said Saturday that the starter’s job is Sam Bradford’s to lose. For now, Rosen fights against Mike Glennon for the No. 2 job.

Bradford has impressed Rosen.

”I think people forget how good he is,” Rosen said. ”He’s just unbelievably quick and decisive with everything he does and the ball doesn’t touch the ground. It’s his first year in this offense, too, and it seems like it’s been his fourth. … He’s unbelievable and I’m going to try and top that. Whether now Youth DJ Moore Jersey , later, whenever.”

The easygoing Bradford says he is glad to help Rosen all he can.

”He’s a good kid,” Bradford said. ”He’s eager to learn, he wants to learn. He wants to be great. I think he’s got the right attitude and the right mindset for this position and this league. I’m going to continue to do everything I can to help and make him the player that he’s capable of being.”

Rosen’s confidence and ability have won over Larry Fitzgerald, one of the game’s greatest receivers.

”Obviously, watching him through offseason, training camp, practice yesterday, he’s got a wealth of talent,” 14-year NFL veteran receiver said. ”The guy’s got just an unbelievable skillset. He can make all the throws. He really picks up on things well, communicates real well with his teammates.”

And the professionalism required to succeed at this level seems to suit Rosen.

”It’s still very teammate oriented, there’s a lot of chemistry things that you have to take into account,” he said, ”but it’s like `Go out on the field and do your job.’ You’re not worrying about anything else.”

Right now, he said, his job is ”owning” the playbook and showing he can implement it at a high level in practice and the preseason.

Bradford has a history of injuries. Rosen’s big chance could come at any time.

The New England Patriots have handled every bit of adversity that has been thrown at them this season – from a string of injuries to the recent off-field firestorm created by reports of purported discord within the core of the franchise.

Now, they’ll have a chance to play for yet another AFC championship.

The Patriots’ 35-14 victory over the Titans in Saturday’s divisional round was yet another reminder of the defending Super Bowl champion’s unique ability to not only compartmentalize, but play some of their best football in the face of it.

Tom Brady chuckled when he was asked after the game about his name being mentioned in a swirl of media reports last week about alleged bickering between himself, coach Bill Belichick and team owner Robert Kraft.

”Noooo,” he responded sarcastically Authentic M.J. Stewart Jersey , when a reporter asked about Brady’s name being mentioned in a negative light.

But Brady said it ”just goes with the territory.

”I just try to be consistent, show up and do the best I can do every week for the team and regardless of whether I’m the worst quarterback in the league or the best quarterback in the league or somewhere in-between,” he said.

It was Brady’s 10th career postseason game with at least three TD tosses, moving him past Joe Montana for the most in NFL history. It also brought out some of the best football in his teammates.

James White caught a touchdown pass and ran for another, and Danny Amendola had 11 catches for 112 yards – his first career 100-yard receiving game.

”All the hard work we put in is for these moments,” White said. ”We have to make the most of these opportunities.”

Marcus Mariota tossed an early touchdown pass to give the Titans an early 7-0 lead. But Tennessee faltered down the stretch as the Patriots defense swarmed the third-year quarterback and sacked him a Patriots playoff-record eight times.

Titans coach Mike Mularkey revealed after the game that Mariota suffered a strained quadriceps muscle in the first quarter. But Mariota said it was no excuse.

”Everybody plays with something,” he said.

He said he walked off the field feeling ”embarrassed” a week after leading his team back from 18 points down against Kansas City. But he said watching the efficiency of Brady and the Patriots was a learning experience he will take with him moving forward.

”You don’t play to come and lose in the divisional playoff. You play to win the whole thing,” Mariota said. ”Obviously, this is the blueprint. New England’s been in the playoffs consistently. We can learn a lot from them.”

FAMILIAR POSITION

Brady will be making his 12th AFC championship game appearance in his 18 NFL seasons. He now has 221 career wins as a starting quarterback (regular season and playoffs), extending his NFL record. Peyton Manning is next with 200 career victories.

RARE COMPANY

Gronkowski finished with six catches for 81 yards and a touchdown. It was his 10th career postseason TD. He’s tied with five others for third all-time. But it’s the most for a tight end. Only two players in NFL history have more receiving touchdowns in the playoffs: Jerry Rice with 22 and John Stallworth with 12.

But Gronkowski said it’s not something that is even registering right now.

”That’s great to hear and everything, but that’s not really the main goal,” he said. ”Maybe down the road you can look back and look at that stuff, but as of right now, what our main goal is just keep on grinding, get the win and that’s what we did tonight.”

HARD CRITIQUE

The Patriots feasted on third down against the Titans’ defense, going 11 of 17 in those situations.

Titans safety Kevin Byard said they allowed Brady to control the game.

”We didn’t play well enough to give our offense a chance,” Byard said. ”We were giving up too much, especially on early downs.”

He said New England’s 31 first downs stood out.

”(Brady) definitely outplayed us tonight.”

Sidney Crosby passed Mario Lemieux in Pittsburgh’s record book and pushed the Philadelphia Flyers to the brink of elimination.

Flyers fans booed the goal – and the ones that stuck around for the end belted a familiar refrain: “Fire Hakstol! Fire Hakstol!”

Crosby scored his fifth goal of the series and became the Penguins‘ career postseason points leader in a 5-0 win over the Flyers on Wednesday night.

The Penguins lead the first-round playoff series 3-1 as its shifts to Pittsburgh for Game 5 on Friday. Crosby and the Penguins followed a 7-0 Game 1 win and a 5-1 Game 3 victory with another dominant outing.

Matt Murray stopped 26 shots for his second shutout of the series and the two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Penguins are a win away from playing in the second round for the 11th time in the last 12 seasons.

Crosby scored in the second period for a 4-0 lead and topped the team owner and Hall of Famer in Lemieux for most playoff points with 173.

”A lot of his records aren’t going to be touched Jonathan Marchessault Jersey ,” Crosby said. ”The fact I can be close to him and around that one, I guess I’ve been fortunate to play in a number of playoff games helps a lot.”

The Flyers were already on their second goalie by the time Crosby scored. The Penguins chased Brian Elliott early in the period after the maligned goalie allowed his 14th goal of the series. Michal Neuvirth relived Elliott and it didn’t matter. Neuvirth lost track of the puck behind the net and had his head turned to the right when Crosby found it and snapped it under the goalie’s left skate.

”I was in a good spot. The puck ended up right on my stick,” Crosby said.

The Flyers were confused. The Penguins were composed.

And it so it goes in Philly, the Flyers are a loss away from another empty season without the Stanley Cup.

”Somehow, we need to get our confidence back and go from there,” team captain Claude Giroux said.

Disgruntled Flyers fans chanted from the balcony to the concourse for the Flyers to fire third-year coach Dave Hakstol.

Both teams played without key cogs in their lineup: Sean Couturier (who had career highs with 31 goals and 76 points) was injured Tuesday at practice in a vicious collision with teammate Radko Gudas; the Pens played without top-line forward Patric Hornqvist because of an undisclosed injury.

Giroux, who scored 102 points during the season, has not scored a posteason goal since 2014.

”One game away for the season to be over,” Giroux said. ”You can expect this team to have some fight the next game.”

The Flyers pulled out all their good-luck charms.

The national champion Villanova Wildcats were in the house and star guard Phil Booth screamed ”Are you ready for some hockey?”

Flyers fans heard the usual stirring rendition of ”God Bless America,” live by Lauren Hart and on video by the late Kate Smith. The song has been a rallying anthem for the Flyers since Smith began singing it in the mid 1970s. Hart started the song, then looked up to the big screen and passed it off to Smith. They finished in a split-screen duet.

Once the pageantry settled down, the Penguins poured it on.

Crosby’s on-point pass on the power play led to Evgeni Malkin’s third goal of the playoff just 4:33 into the game. Phil Kessel scored his first of the postseason midway through the period. Kris Letang made it 3-0 in the second and that was all for Elliott.

Riley Sheahan made it 5-0 late in the third. Neuvirth stopped 11 of 13 shots in relief.

”We won in their building on the second game so that’s the attitude we’re going to take,” Neuvirth said.

Murray was solid again, and stoned Travis Konency on a breakaway out of the penalty box in the second that had the second-year center slam his stick on the ice in anger.

”They had their chances, at times Filip Forsberg Jersey ,” Murray said. ”But we got the job done.”

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs had been searching for help at cornerback and had a surplus of talented offensive lineman, while the Dallas Cowboys were in precisely the opposite situation.

So they decided to make a deal.

The Chiefs sent backup offensive lineman Parker Ehinger, who had lost his starting job in training camp, to the Cowboys for undrafted but promising cornerback Charvarius Ward. The deal was struck Thursday night but became official Friday, one day before teams are required to trim their rosters.

“I’ve had a chance to look at Charvarius and he’s a big kid that’s really had a pretty good training camp for them,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said on a conference call. “He’s somebody that will come in and work into that mix there. He’s young, so we’re not bringing him in to be the starter or any of that, but he sure is a nice addition to that group.”

The Chiefs have been chasing help at cornerback ever since trading Marcus Peters, a standout but malcontent, to the Rams earlier this season. They acquired Kendall Fuller in a trade with Washington for quarterback Alex Smith, signed David Amerson in free agency, chose Tremon Smith in the draft, and picked up a couple more prospects that went undrafted in April.

So far, Fuller has been the only one to distinguish himself during the preseason.

He’s poised to start alongside Steven Nelson http://www.redskinsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-pernell-mcphee-jersey , who missed part of camp with a concussion, but the depth beyond that gets thin. Amerson has been burned in preseason games, while Smith was a sixth-round pick from Central Arkansas who is trying to adapt to a major upgrade in competition.

Chiefs general manager Brett Veach evidently thought enough of Ward that he didn’t want to risk someone else grabbing him on Saturday, assuming he was cut by the Cowboys. So he made the deal to send them Ehinger, a fourth-round pick in 2016 who earned the starting job as a rookie.

Ehinger tore his ACL later that season, though, and with the exception of a start in Week 17 of last year, he’s been unable to earn back the starting job. Cam Erving beat him out in camp.

The Cowboys were searching for interior depth after losing backup Marcus Martin to a torn ligament in his toe this preseason. They also have a rookie, Connor Williams, poised to start at guard.

“They needed offensive linemen,” Reid said. “They’ve been checking on our group there and Parker will go in and do a nice job for them, and we appreciate everything he did here and how he fought back from his injury to get himself back to where he is now. He did a nice job.

“They wanted him and we wanted Charvarius, so it all worked out well.”

Tyler Anderson kept Arizona in check for six innings. Once he left Dallas Goedert Color Rush Jersey , the Diamondbacks pounced on the Colorado Rockies bullpen.

David Peralta and A.J. Pollock homered in Arizona’s four-run seventh inning, and the Diamondbacks beat the Rockies 5-3 on Tuesday night.

”It’s good when you do something to help the team to win,” said Peralta, who has 16 home runs. ”You have to be ready for a mistake. I was trying to slow down the game. I was really happy.”

Nick Ahmed also went deep as the Diamondbacks won for ninth straight time at Coors Field.

Arizona managed just three hits off Anderson but a high pitch count ended his night early. The Diamondbacks roughed up the Rockies’ bullpen in the seventh.

Jake McGee (1-3) walked Jeff Mathis, allowed a double to pinch-hitter Chris Owings before Peralta hit the first strike he saw into the seats in right to give the Diamondbacks a 4-2 lead.

”I threw two bad pitches with my secondary pitches Youth Donte Jackson Jersey ,” McGee said. ”The second one I got it up too much to Peralta. You are going to pay when that happens.”

Pollock hit a solo homer later in the inning off Scott Oberg.

The big inning wasted another strong outing for Anderson. He has allowed just one run in his last three starts, two of which have come at Coors Field. He has a 0.45 ERA since losing to the Miami Marlins on June 23rd.

He walked four batters Tuesday, two leading off the third inning but came back to strike out the side and leave the runners stranded.

”I was working fast, too fast,” Anderson said. ”I stayed back and made good pitches. A lot of times when you’re back is against the wall Customized San Francisco 49ers Jerseys , you have to do that.”

Nolan Arenado hit his 23rd homer off Archie Bradley in the bottom of the seventh, tying him for the NL lead in that category. The Rockies put the tying run on first but Andrew Chafin retired the last two batters to end the threat.

Randall Delgado (2-0) tossed 1 2/3 innings in relief of Patrick Corbin to get the win. Brad Boxberger pitched the ninth for his 22nd save.

Corbin went only 4 1/3 innings and failed to pitch at least five innings for the first time this season. The left-hander came into the game with a 0.95 ERA in his previous three starts.

”I didn’t go as deep into the game as I’d like,” Corbin said. ”Just a couple of mistakes and got my pitch count early. I was hoping to get through the fifth there but the bullpen came up huge.”

TRAINER’S ROOM

Diamondbacks: RHP Clay Buchholz (left oblique strain) threw a bullpen on Tuesday while INF Deven Marrero (left oblique strain) continues to do range-of-motion exercises.

Rockies: OF David Dahl (broken right foot) took batting practice Wednesday. Dahl has been out since June 1 after fouling a ball off his foot against San Francisco.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Arizona’s nine straight wins at Coors Field are a franchise record at an away ballpark. The Diamondbacks haven’t lost in Denver since June 20, 2017.

”You come up here and we’re ready to play our best baseball,” manager Torey Lovullo said. ”For the first five innings we looked like we were semi-sleepwalking but the right guys came up when we needed them.”

Arizona had an eight-game winning streak at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia snapped in April.

ROSTER MOVE

The Rockies activated C Tom Murphy from the paternity list and optioned INF Jordan Patterson to Triple-A Albuquerque.

UP NEXT

Diamondbacks RHP Shelby Miller (0-3 Matt Calvert Jersey , 9.00) makes his fourth start Wednesday since returning from Tommy John surgery. He will face Colorado RHP German Marquez (7-8, 4.92), who is 2-0 with a 1.29 ERA with 14 strikeouts and no walks in his last two starts.

The Tennessee Titans have agreed to a four-year contract with free agent running back Dion Lewis.

A person familiar with the deal says the sides agreed to the contract on Tuesday. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because signings can’t become official until the start of the new league year on Wednesday. ESPN’s Adam Schefter first reported the pact.

The person said the deal for the former Patriots starter carries a maximum value of $23.4 million.

Lewis had his first season with New England in 2015 season cut short by knee surgery after seven games.

He played just seven games during his return in 2016, but he had a career season in 2017, leading New England with 896 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns. He also had three receiving scores and was the Patriots’ best kickoff returner Jakob Silfverberg Jersey , posting a 103-yard return for a touchdown against Denver.

In Tennessee, he joins Derrick Henry in the backfield. He’ll also be reunited with former teammate Logan Ryan as well as Malcolm Butler, who also agreed to a deal with the Titans on Tuesday.

There once was a time when Washington boasted a season ticket waiting list of more than 200 Erik Swoope Jersey ,000 fans. That was a time when the team was much more popular than it is today.

Today Washington acknowledged that there’s no wait for season tickets at all, and anyone who wants to buy season tickets is free to do so. Good seats are available.

That’s a bad sign for the franchise, especially considering that they’ve removed seats from FedEx Field and don’t even have as many season tickets to sell as they had in the past.

The team’s new chief operation officer, Brian Lafemina Mason Crosby Jersey , said they are “taking a fresh look at every area of the business.” That should include team owner Dan Snyder looking in the mirror: He’s been running the show this whole time, while tens of thousands of fans have decided it’s a show they don’t want to watch.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster has been charged with felony domestic violence after being accused of dragging his girlfriend and punching her in the head, leaving her with a ruptured eardrum, authorities said.

The Santa Clara County District Attorney charged Foster on Thursday Seahawks Game Jerseys , when he was also arraigned in San Jose. A judge ordered him not to have any contact with his girlfriend.

Foster was accompanied to court by 49ers teammate Richard Sherman. He did not enter a plea and was released after posting $75,000 bail.

He declined to answer media questions outside court, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

Prosecutors said the 24-year-old Foster attacked his girlfriend in February at their Los Gatos home, leaving her bruised and with an injured eardrum.

The 28-year-old woman told responding officers that Foster dragged her by her hair Patrice Bergeron Jersey , physically threw her out of the house, and punched her in the head eight to 10 times.

Foster was also charged with felony possession of an assault weapon and misdemeanor possession of a high-capacity magazine after officers found a Sig Sauer 516 short-barreled rifle in his home while investigating his girlfriend's domestic violence report.

If convicted on all charges, He faces up to 11 years in prison.

The 49ers drafted Foster 31st overall last year after questions about his health and character caused him to drop from being a possible top 10 pick.

Foster delivered on the field, ranking second on the team with 72 tackles in 10 games as a rookie and looking like a key part of San Francisco's defensive future.

Foster then was charged in January in Alabama with second-degree marijuana possession before the incident in February that led to the most recent charges.

Foster could face discipline from the league for both infractions.

"We continue to monitor all developments in this matter which is under review of the personal conduct policy Youth James Conner Jersey ," the NFL said in a statement.

The 49ers called the domestic violence charges against Foster disturbing.

"We will continue to follow this serious matter," the team said in a release. "Reuben is aware that his place in our organization is under great scrutiny and will depend on what is learned through the legal process."

The offense that Washington Nationals manager Dave Martinez has been waiting for showed up just in time to prevent a sweep at the hands of a division rival Sunday night.

Daniel Murphy’s single drove in the tying and go-ahead runs in the eighth inning and the Nationals rallied past the Philadelphia Phillies 8-6 to salvage the finale of the three-game series.

Anthony Rendon homered and doubled Youth Robert Griffin III Jersey , Bryce Harper tied a career high with three doubles and Michael A. Taylor and Murphy each had three singles as Washington pounded out 17 hits in a game that was delayed 38 minutes by rain in the bottom of the fourth inning.

”We weren’t scoring very many runs,” Martinez said, ”and for us to come out and compete like we did today and put up eight runs . and just really work very good at-bats, I felt really good for the boys and I know they’ll feed off it.”

Rhys Hoskins and Nick Williams homered for the Phillies, who had won three straight.

Pinch hitter Brian Goodwin led off the eighth with a walk. With one out, right-hander Seranthony Dominguez (1-2) came on to face Harper Youth Arizona Cardinals Jerseys , who doubled to right, with Goodwin stopping at third.

After Rendon grounded out, Phillies manager Gabe Kapler elected to walk rookie Juan Soto and pitch to the veteran Murphy, who began the day hitting .135.

”You pick your poison right there,” Kapler said. ”You have two very good hitters. The first one in Soto has been elite. And Murphy has struggled a little bit. And we went after the guy that was struggling and coming off injury.”

After throwing three 98-mph plus fastballs to get ahead 1-2, Dominguez tried a slider that Murphy lined to shallow right. Taylor’s single made it 8-6.

”I was watching some film on him and he had kind of gone with the slider as a kill shot to a couple lefties Travis Konecny Jersey , so once I got two strikes I was aware of it,” Murphy said. ”I hadn’t seen it yet, so that’s never any fun, but fortunately I was able to get it in the air enough and kind of scoop it over Cesar (Hernandez’s) head at second base.”

Ryan Madson (2-3) pitched the eighth inning, and Sean Doolittle finished for his 21st save.

The Phillies took a 6-2 lead in the fifth on a two-run triple by Odubel Herrera and a two-run homer by Williams, but the bullpen surrendered six runs.

Washington pulled within a run at 6-5 in the sixth with four two-out hits Joel Armia Jersey Kids , including an RBI triple by Trea Turner and RBI doubles by Harper and Rendon.

The agent for New York Giants star receiver Odell Beckham Jr. had a long conversation with the team's assistant general manager during practice on Thursday.

Zeke Sandhu of Elite Athlete Management and Kevin Abrams of the Giants talked for almost two hours on the patio overlooking the team's practice fields as Beckham and teammates held a morning workout.

Neither man was available to the media.

Giants co-owner John Mara said last week the team was going to start negotiations on a new contract for the 25-year-old Beckham. He will make $8.5 million this season in the fifth and final season of his rookie deal. The three-time Pro Bowler has said he wants to be among the NFL's highest-paid receivers.

When asked by The Associated Press if the team had anything to say about Sandhu and Abrams talking Jonathan Drouin Jersey , Giants spokesman Pat Hanlon replied: "No."

A telephone call to Sandhu went to his voicemail, which was full. An email from The AP to Elite Athlete Management was not immediately answered.

Beckham missed most of last season after breaking an ankle in early October. He has shown no side effects in training camp and his quickness and speed seem to be the same.

"He's doing what we expected him to do," said coach Pat Shurmur, who said Beckham was engaged and energetic. "Again, most of the scripted periods Authentic Erik Karlsson Jersey Kids , we give him the plays that are necessary for him to learn. He's right on track."

Shurmur said he does not comment on contract talks.

Beckham has not spoken to the media since the team reported to training camp on July 25. He seemingly sticks to football in conversations with other players.

"Yeah, most of the time it's about technique or what I was thinking on some route or what he was thinking or whatever is coming up in the script, and what we're excited for," fellow receiver Sterling Shepard said about his discussions with Beckham on Thursday. "We're always just picking each other's brain. I'm always picking his brain, for sure. Trying to see what he's thinking or what he thought about whatever just happened Rickard Rakell Jersey , or whatever I just did."

Beckham has made the Giants' offense go since being drafted in the first round in 2014. In 47 NFL games, the former LSU player has 313 catches for 4,424 yards and 38 touchdowns.

The Ravens have enjoyed since 2012 the services of one of the strongest-legged kickers in the NFL. They may have a second one on the roster.

Via the Baltimore Sun Eric Staal Jersey , undrafted rookie kicker-punter聽Kaare Vedvik nailed a 70-yard field goal at the team’s practice facility on Wednesday.

There’s a big difference between making a 70-yard field goal with no one around and during game conditions, but it’s a positive sign for the player, who likely will have to go elsewhere if he hopes to land on a roster.

Justin Tucker Patrick Roy Jersey , 28, is signed through 2019, at salaries of $2.95 million and $3.05 million. He has made more than 90 percent of his career field goals (with a long of 61 yards) Tom Kuhnhackl Jersey , and he has never missed an extra point.

The New York Jets have signed linebacker Avery Williamson to a three-year contract worth $22.5 million.

Williamson spent his first four NFL seasons with Tennessee and led the Titans in tackles in two of those years.

It appears the 26-year-old Williamson will be a replacement at inside linebacker for Demario Davis, who led the Jets in tackles last season with a career season but is 29 and a free agent.

Instead, New York went with the younger Williamson Radim Vrbata Jersey , who has 11陆 sacks and 377 tackles with two interceptions and three forced fumbles. He'll likely combine with Darron Lee to man the middle of the Jets' linebacker group.

Williamson was a fifth-round pick out of Kentucky in the 2014 draft. He became a starter for the Titans early in his rookie season and became a consistent playmaker during his four years with the team.

For Indiana guard Victor Oladipo Authentic Stephen Johns Jersey , there was much to like about the Pacers‘ road trip.

“It was a great road trip,” Oladipo said. “Unfortunately, we wanted to end it a little better. If we look at the bigger picture, it was a great road trip for us and we just have to continue to keep getting better like I said. Confidence is high.”

The Pacers won the first three games of the trek before losing to Denver 107-104 on Tuesday night. The trip started with a victory at Golden State.

The Pacers will see a different Golden State team Thursday night in Indianapolis after beating the short-handed Warriors 92-81 on Friday.

The Warriors were without all four All-Stars — Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green — because of injuries and illness. All but Curry have returned to action. Curry will miss the rest of the regular season with a left MCL sprain.

With four regular season games remaining, the Pacers (46-32) are in the No. 5 spot in the Eastern Conference and appear destined for a first-round matchup with Cleveland or Philadelphia.

“I think it is going to make us road-tough and battle-tested,” Pacers forward Thaddeus Young said of the road trip. “It’s definitely prepping us for the task at hand, which is going to the playoffs and trying to get some games. I think we have been doing a good job of handling it. Just going out there and just playing as a team.”

Pacers coach Nate McMillan was pleased overall.

“We did some good things on this trip,” McMillan said. “We gave ourselves a chance to win (against Denver) and I thought (we had) a couple of mental mistakes down the stretch, (Denver) made some baskets that cost us this game. I think we looked a little fatigued there. I thought there was some mental fatigue.”

Oladipo Kevin Shattenkirk Jersey , who was named Eastern Conference Player of the Week on Monday, scoring 25 points against Denver. He finished the road trip averaging 25.8 points, 6.8 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 3.8 steals while shooting 62.9 percent from the field.

Durant scored 34 as the Warriors beat host Oklahoma City 111-107 on Tuesday night. The Warriors (57-21) are locked into the second seed in the Western Conference.

“We want to build on this and keep building momentum towards the playoffs,” Durant told TNT.

Durant said it was a different game, missing several players.

“We’re missing the missile (Curry) out there,” Durant said. “We figured it out. We were moving the ball, we were being aggressive. Being down not just Steph but Andre (Iguodala), (Kevon) Looney and Shaun (Livingston). Everybody stepped up.”

Warriors coach Steve Kerr called it “a hell of a win, especially without our guards. I loved how these guys played and competed.”

Reserve center Damian Jones contributed eight points for the Warriors in his first significant minutes (14).

“Damian deserves credit, he’s really http://www.officialsharks.com/authentic-adidas-logan-couture-jersey , really worked hard,” Kerr said. “You can see the type of physical presence he has out there. It was fun opportunity to see what he could do.”

Point guard Quinn Cook has scored in double figures in 11 consecutive games for the Warriors, who are expected to find a way to put Cook on the playoff roster.

In 12 games against the Pacers, Thompson has averaged 26.3 points on 48.2 percent from 3-point range. That’s four points better than his average against any other team.

Richie Incognito is abruptly calling it quits on an 11-season NFL career, three years after the Buffalo Bills gave the offensive guard a second chance at playing following his role in the Miami Dolphins' bullying scandal.

The NFL Players Association on Tuesday night announced Incognito had contacted the union of his plans to retire. The announcement made on the NFLPA's Twitter account , came after Incognito revealed his intention to retire through a series of tweets and comments made to several publications throughout the morning.

Without going into detail, the 34-year-old said he was "done" in a text to The Associated Press shortly after SportsIllustrated reported Incognito was "strongly considering retiring," but would consider returning for one more season at the right price.

Incognito then told The Buffalo News he's retiring because of health reasons.

"I'm done. That's it," Incognito told The News. "Went to the doctor. My liver and kidneys are shutting down. The stress is killing me."

The Bills did not respond to a request seeking comment.

Incognito's decision to retire comes a week after he fired his agent, David Dunn, in a post on Twitter. That decision came after Incognito accepted a pay cut by restructuring the final year of his contract.

Incognito initially backed his restructured contract by posting a note on Twitter saying he was "thrilled to be returning this season and fired up to get back to work with my Buffalo Bills brothers."

Incognito is also the subject of an NFL investigation after Jacksonville defensive end Yannick Ngakoue accused the Bills player of making racist slurs during the Jaguars' 10-3 win over Buffalo in an AFC wild-card playoff game in January.

The NFL has not announced whether it has completed its investigation. Ngakoue said he and Incognito cleared the air after they were AFC teammates at the Pro Bowl in January.

Incognito began Tuesday with a series of vague tweets Michael Grabner Jersey , which began with "Good morning, FOOTBALL!" He then tweeted "Yes," and "Wow," before posting a note that read: "Big Ben."

Later, he mentioned the Twitter accounts of the NFLPA and the union's assistant executive director, George Atallah, in a note that read, "I'm done," followed by a winking emoji with its tongue stuck out.

In its tweet Tuesday night, the NFLPA wished Incognito good luck in the next stage of his career.

Incognito is leaving football a little over three years since signing a one-year deal with Buffalo to resume his career after spending 18 months away from the game.

Incognito was suspended for the final eight games of the 2013 season, when the Dolphins were thrust into the national spotlight after offensive lineman Jonathan Martin abruptly quit the team amid accusations he was being bullied. An NFL investigation determined Incognito and two other Dolphins offensive linemen persistently harassed Martin.

In February http://www.officialislanders.com/authentic-adidas-nick-leddy-jersey , Martin was detained and questioned by Los Angeles police after posting a threatening note on his Instagram account. Martin's post showed a shotgun and specifically mentioned Incognito, former teammate Mike Pouncey as well as a private Los Angeles prep school Martin once attended. Martin wrote suicide and revenge were the only options for a victim of bullying.

Incognito also played three-plus seasons in St. Louis, which drafted him in 2005. He played in college at Nebraska but left after being suspended, then transferred to Oregon though he never played for the Ducks.

Incognito earned three of his four Pro Bowl selections in Buffalo, and was considered among the Bills team leaders. He started all 36 games at left guard for the Bills, and was part of a line that led to Buffalo leading the NFL in yards rushing in both 2015 and '16.

The Bills' offensive line is already undergoing a shuffle after center Eric Wood was diagnosed with a career-ending neck injury in January. Buffalo also traded starting left tackle Cordy Glenn to Cincinnati last month.
